A visit to the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore Maryland many years ago led me to the exciting world of those artists who create outside the commercial and academic art world.  These visionary artists work outside the mainstream and many times only with the materials they can forage or afford.  It takes tremendous will and energy to create and these folks do it in spite of whatever obstacles life has thrown at them.  They create because they have to — without filter or judgement.  I find great joy in their work.  I look for them wherever I go and now am ready to share some of these marvelous creations.
